Venture into this art centric cocktail bar in Dallas’ historic Deep Ellum neighborhood. Created by Peter Novotny, Dan Murry, and Chef Abram Vargas, the creators of the popular Armoury D.E, the favorite Deep Ellum cocktail den with Hungarian fare. Although the name ‘Ruins’ is inspired by Budapest’s “ruin pubs”—abandoned buildings transformed into watering holes—the bar-restaurant-music venue has Latin roots.

Ruins celebrates the agave spirits of Mexico, brandies and cane-based expressions of Latin America and the Carribean with a large collection waiting for you to imbibe traditionally or in a unique tropical cocktail.

Enjoy the Mexican focused cuisine with distinctly Oaxacan twists, while also featuring dishes from across Central and South America, as well as the Caribbean.

Kitchen open until 2am everyday.

ABOUT

Ruins and The Limbo Room opened May 9, 2018 and has quickly established itself as one of the premier spots to see live music in North Texas. Somewhere between heaven and hell, experience art in all forms with local and regional artists of all mediums, national acts, weekend dance parties and weekly karaoke - The Limbo Room provides an intimate, professional and above all else a fun experience for fans and bands alike.
